Ob/Gyn Associates

I was a patient at this practice when I was pregnant in 2006- 2007. I absolutely loved the doctors and staff. They were always their to help with any and all concerns that I had. I always felt like the pregnancy and wellbeing of my baby were just as important to them as it was to me. When I went into labor my primary doctor was on call and delivered my baby. Had it not been for her being there I probably would have delivered in the ""labor room"", but my doctor saw that I was much further than the nurses were saying- rechecked me and abruptly broke my water. about 20 minutes later my beautiful baby girl was born- healthy. I thank all of the doctors within this group. You all do so much everyday to make each and every womans pregnancy a unique and extraordinary experience that they would not get anywhere else. more

I left a message with krystal on Thursday a.m. to have the nurse call me . She assured me Luann would return my call after 1:30 that day-No call. i called again Monday a.m. to leave my number (maybe she wrote down the wrong number) she said Lu was on the phone ad I was next in line for a return call and should have a call by 11a.m monday morn. I called Monday 4pm to speak with the office manager Candy, maybe she could answer my questions. She is out but leave a message- its Wednesday No returned calls - I will look for a professional office. more

I love this practice. I found OB/GYN Assoc. after a miscarriage in another town. I was pregnant and let them know of the previous miscarriage, and they rushed me in immediately upon discovering the pregnancy. I had tons of appointments to help monitor my pregnancies, and early diagnosis of problems. After a second miscarriage, they asked if I would like genetic tests to ensure that it wouldn't be a recurrent problem, which they performed and which reassured me. The doctors always informed me about my options, allowed me to ask any questions I had, and really helped me through rough times... and helped me hold on to my son with the use of supplemental progesterone to strengthen the pregnancy. I believe I wouldn't have had him without the help of Dr. Icely. They will rotate you through visits will all the physicians, just in case your regular OB isn't available the day you deliver, which is nice, and I loved each and every physician there. They also have nurse midwives for those who want a less medical experience. Lastly, they have most lab work done in house, an ultrasound machine in the office, lots of support staff, and accept many different forms of insurance. The only down side is that they are popular, and occassionally I've had to wait well beyond my appointment time to get back to the doctor. However, that is only occassionally. This office had no concern for patient wellbeing. Although while pregnant they seemed fairly attentive, the second my child was born, I just became a number, or $ perhaps, and not a patient. Pros: Plenty of doctors, nurses, midwives,... Cons: No personal touch, just a number. more
