Oasis church is a place of healing, restoration and love. I can't tell you of the number of broken marriages, broken families, broken hearts, abused, addicted, depressed, and hopeless people who have been changed, restored, healed and are now completely new. God is doing great things in the lives of the people that come to Oasis. If you are hurting in any way this is the place for you! And if you are fine not really broken but hungry for more of God then this is the place for you. I was starving for God when I came 3 and 1/2 years ago, I was to the point that if I didn't get more God there was no point to continue in this church thing. I knew there was more there had to be more. those around me thought I was crazy. right before I gave up I found Oasis church and my life was changed! I love it! And I thank God for Pastor Barney and Cindy Huie, true servants of God! more

I really love Oasis Church @ Lakeview in Garland, TX. Pastor Barney Huie really cares about every person who walks through those doors. His desire is that people really learn how to have a true relationship with God. he wants all to be set free & live the abundant life. he teaches us how to do exactly that. This church has changed my life & the life of my husband & children. The people of Oasis are authentic & the friendliest people I've ever met. more

Awesome Church! And good and friendly people surround this place! We have a wonderful pastor that really cares for the people with a heart and matter of God. And it gets better because on Tuesday nights the youth pastor not only brings a great message from God, but really brings kids from all grades into understanding God's love for us! The moment I walked into Oasis' double doors, I knew I was home. I could feel the presence of God in the atmosphere and the love of the Father through the attendees. Pastor Barney is such a gifted man. He preaches the Gospel with such compassion that it leaves you wanting more. I'm thankful for this church and all the wonderful people in it. more

As a youth, it can be somewhat scary going into a completely new situation. It was not so at Oasis Church. I was welcomed with smiling faces and kind words and it didn't just happen the first time then stop, people really care at Oasis Church! God shows up in the Children's ministry, the Youth church, and the Adult services. If you are looking for a church to encounter God, this is the place. The facilities are always clean and the people who work as staff at the church are easy to get a hold of. This really is a place of God. more
