I was Dr. Netter’s patient for 7 years. I've had some unpleasant experiences with the staff before, especially the receptionist, but I managed to put up with her long face every time I walked in. Until recently, that is. It got so bad I've decided to never go back again. Here's what happened: I needed to change one of my prescriptions from brand name to generic, so I called and was told by the receptionist to leave a message. When a couple of days passed and they didn't call me back, I called again and was, of course, told to leave a message again. This kept happening for over two weeks. I kept calling and leaving messages and no one ever returned my call. Then my prescription ran out, so I told the receptionist over the phone that I've been calling them for two weeks and I had to talk to someone who could help me. She basically refused to let me speak to anyone else and hung up. Finally on Jan. 19, 2010, I went to the office in person, and was told there was no prescription for me and they did not get any of my messages! One of the nurses mentioned offhandedly, ""Oh yeah, your pharmacist called, but we don't deal with them."" When my prescription was about to run out my pharmacist did call me to see if I get a new prescription. As I was having no luck myself I had asked the pharmacy to call them too. That didn't work either obviously. I asked the receptionist again how I could get my prescription changed. She closed the window in my face and said, ""You have to call and leave a message."" It didn't matter how I begged her and explained that I've been doing exactly that for over two weeks, she just kept repeating her line. There were several staff there with her, and no one showed the slightest sympathy or intention to help me. I was frustrated and raised my voice slightly, saying again that I really needed help to get my prescription. Suddenly the receptionist raised the window and shouted at me, ""Why do you come here to harass us?"" I was totally shocked. Who was harassing whom? As a patient and their customer I did what I was told and got no response. They denied they had ever heard from me, despite the receptionist having spoken to me several times over the phone. Then when I showed up in person they tried to ignore me and accused me of being at fault. Their total lack of professionalism and even common courtesy is appalling and I urge anyone who's thinking of going there to reconsider.\r
