Oakmont Memorial Park & Mortuary

This place is terrible. Particularly Nisha the sales manager. Interesting title, sales manager. She made it very clear that all she cares about is making a buck!!! After my mother was buried I waited a very long time for the headstone. When I finally called I was told it was never ordered. Nisha had one excuse after another. Finally got that ordered. I asked Nisha for a phone call once the headstone arrived so that I could be there when it was installed. I was assured by her that I would recieve a phone call. Today I received a call from somebody doing Nisha's dirty work telling me that the headstone was installed 2 weeks ago!!!!! OOPS SORRY!!! My father was buried there over 30 years ago and my mother had asked to be buried next to him. That is the only reason we went to this cemetary. A very bad mistake. I hope my mother is able to rest in peace and that she has no idea how her family was treated. These folks, especially Nisha, are the lowest of the low.\r more

Elisha Kim, was exceptional. He walked me through the process of what I consider ""surreal"", and had the right balance of what was appropriate in such circumstances regarding a ""resting place"". Thank you Elisha for your compassion and understanding. more

My parents had bought and paid for 6 burial sights, in October of 2008, they decided they wanted to be put in vaults, began another payment plan starting at $12,331.05 including interest! Ufortuanately my Mom passed the day after Christmas, had to pay $6,109, after calling for the 3rd or 4th time regarding her name being placed on the vault, I was told they needed another $3109, I'm so angry I could cry. They are so full of BS, and we have no choice but to pay it. Pros: Polite as long as your forking out the money Cons: Continue to want the money more

My dad had pre-paid for his plot, yet we still ended up paying a good amount of money for his burial. Money aside, the people at Oakmont were hearless, and very rude. The General Manager Scott, was a straight sales person, always tring to upsale, and inlcude unwanted services. When we called him out on a $1000 charge that we hadn't wanted he said that it was mandetory even though it was an addition to the min services that we had to pay. If this was mandetory why wasnt it included in the min services that we were being charges? No one could answer this question. PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE< THESE PEOPLE ARE ALL HEARTLESS AND SLEAZZY!!! Cons: They added additional fee's at then very end. more

I did a pre-planned thing way back in 1980. It was a beautiful place with great representatives. But as said previously, this place has changed hands so many times and records are lost it is unfortunate a business is run this way. Even with the use of technology, records are not maintained. I've come to the realization that it is not good to pre-plan because prices keep going up for new and different things. I thought when I made my plans they were good until my demise with nothing extra added since there was nothing extra at that time. more

My mother's side of the family is buried at this cemetery. Back in 1989 when my grandfather passed away there was no real problems. Since then this mortuary has changed hands so many times that files and contracts get misplace. The counselors are rude and argue with their clients. The maintenance of the graves is horrible. Everytime I go out there I have to hand trim around the headstones. So my kids do not have to deal with what I have had to endure with these people I will most likely be selling my ""land"" and looking else where for a final resting place. more
