Never feel like Dr. Tanner is in a rush. Office staff is caring, and go out of the way to help. I have been to other vets in town and have felt like test, etc, where being ordered to increase the bill, but not here. Everything was explained, the whys and hows. I felt like there was concern for the humans as much as the animal. more

Caring and helpful, everything a Vet should Be. 6/6/2005

We have used Dr. Tanner and Old Town Vet for a couple of years. Mostly, it has been for routine work but a year ago we had an incident where we lost a pet. Dr. Tanner was the most caring Vet I have ever encountered. He brought us into a private room immediately upon arriving and allowed us to stay with our pet for a long as we needed. He was supportive and really understood that our pets were part of our family. Since then we have brought our pets in and every time we are treated with respect. They remember our names and that of our pets. It really nice to see that these people really love animals. They even care enough to do follow up calls when your pet is sick. If you need someone who understands the importance your pets play in your life then I highly recommend Dr. Tanner and Old Town Vet. more
