Oak Square Cleaners

I've used this place for cleaning pants and sweaters, and everything has come back clean and in perfect condition, so far. I've also taken several pairs of pants for alterations, and was very satisfied with their work. \r The only reason I'm taking off a star is because they don't take credit cards--there is a Bank of America ATM about a block away, but it's still kind of a pain.\r \r I've also used Swan Cleaners down the street from this place before, the quality of the cleaning was on par with Oak Square Cleaners, but it was a little more expensive. So if you want to save a few bucks, I'd recommend OSC over Swan. However, I've been happy with both. Pros: Good value for the area, good alterations Cons: Don't take credit cards more

The very first time I used this place they ripped a button off of my pants. When I tried to put on my pants the following day I discovered a button was missing. I returned to the store and showed them the missing button. The owner said he would replace the button and I would be able to pick up the pants later that day. When I returned to pick up the pants the owner tried to charge me $2.00 for sewing the button back on! He said that they were not responsible for buttons, tears or stains during the dry cleaning process. There are many dry cleaners in the area so don't use Oak Square Cleaners.
