Oak Ridge Gun Range

I found that the staff at OAK RIDGE GUN RANGE are extremely rude people who have no sense of customer service I do not recommend this place to anyone , also their prices are high and the range is small with only 7 lanes and they allow many people in that small space.... but most of all I was disappointed by the unprofessional treatment received. I am new to guns, but we have had several robberies in the area, so what is a dude to do?? I went to Oakridge gun range on saturday. As I walked into the door I could see the placed was packed, however it was neat organized and had a freindly sort of feel to it. A portly fellow said hello and he would be with me in just a minute. A few minutes later he approched me again and asked what he could do for me. I told him I knew nothing about guns but wanted to get a gun permit so I could buy on. He told me no such thing existed in FL and I could buy a gun with an ID and there was a wait on handguns. Here is the cool part. He then spent the next 45 minutes answering my questions and must have shown me a 1/2 dozen guns. He pushed revolvers, but was delighted to answer the questions I had about any gun I saw. I have never seen customer service that was so friendly. Even though i did not buy a gun that day, he gave me a card, thanked me for coming in and told me come back any time. I will be back!!! more

Their new location is a big upgrade from the old one. Very modern and nice selection. Pros: 7 lane range air condition, Soda Machine, Snack Machine more

Okay selection of guns, not great. Real good staff. Bought a scope mount that was wrong based on their info. Exchanged it with no problem. They also did some work on a gun of mine and it came back better than it went in (exactly what I wanted). Besides parking being a pain, the range is very small. Some might say cozy. Pros: Close to the house. Cons: Parking is limited, very small range. more
