This temple has some of the best people and families I have ever met! The feeling you get when you walk into this temple is comfort and relaxation; it's what you always wanted, but didn't know it! The rabbi has been there for decades, and is probably the most dedicated man I have ever met. The sermons are fantastic; not your typical fall asleep material...he really related ideas to current events. Very powerful. more

  • Oak Park Temple B'nai Abraham Zion is one of the oldest Reform congregations in the Chicagoland area, dating back to the 1919 merger of the Zion Congregation (founded in 1864) and the B'nai Abraham Congregation (founded 1871). Originally known as Washington Boulevard Temple and located on Chicago's West Side, the congregation dedicated its current home at 1235 North Harlem Avenue in 1957 and has since been known as Oak park Temple B'nai Abraham Zion.
