My boyfriend took me to Phipps during one of the extended evening hours and we had such a wonderful time. Instead of giving me a boquet of flowers, he have me rooms and rooms of beautiful flowers and exotic plants. The conservatory was so beautiful and we had such a fun time, just walking through the rooms and enjoying each other's company. more

A geat indoor place on a cold day 8/16/2002

Phipps Conservatory and bontanical gardens has separate rooms devoted to tropical plants,and arid desert type plants. They have unusual plants to sell for your home and garden, too. more

Phipps is the most impressive during the summer, when the butterfly room is open. There is nothing more magical than a butterfly quietly landing on your shoulder! Pros: inexpensive, convenient, good atmosphere Cons: somewhat small, sometimes hot inside more
