Nykiel Carlin & Glotbach

We've been using Nykiel Carlin and Glotzbach company for several years (they used to be in Hammond) to do our taxes. Our taxes are a little complicated with my wife having a small business so we have them done professionally. This company does a great job in preparing our taxes. Sometimes they are a little slow. There have been years where we turned in our taxes by January 20th and they weren't done until the end of March. They sometimes take care of the "big" accounts before getting to us. However, this year our taxes were done in a week!!! We also used to think they were rather expensive but we went to H&R Block to see what they would have charged us and they told us it would have been AT LEAST 200.00 more than Nykiel Carlin & Glotzback! This company gets 4 stars from me. If they were always as quick as this year it would be 5 stars. more

We have been using Nykiel, Carline, Glotzbach & Co for about 10 years now for our Tax Preparation. Although they do a good job, they are very slow most times. We always have our taxes in no later than January 31st...many years it has been earlier. Even though we get ours in early it seems that they never get them finished before April 1st. I always get told that they have deadlines to meet with the "Big" companies they do business with. I do NOT like that! Just because we aren't some huge account does not mean that we should get pushed aside...we pay for the service, too. I want to find another company to work with but it's hard to change because this company already knows us and it makes things easier. I would recommend this company for your taxes if you always "OWE" (so you aren't in a hurry to have them done) or if you just don't mind waiting. more
