Bad: Did not tell me the complications of having a bladder lift surgery.. Improvements: Inform patients of all the complications they could have with each surgery. Also leave the specialists to the more complicated surgeries. Stick to child birth.. Other: I thought Dr. Nowinski was a great doctor until I had surgery. He did a hysterectomy/bladder lift last April (2010) and from the time I went home 3 days later I started having problems. Was in terrible pain for 8 months. Had to go to a specialist to undo the corrective surgery. Dr. Nowinsik had inserted one side of the sling material into my bladder. In Dec. 2010 had surgery to remove the sling. Looking forward to future surgery to once again have the bladder lift done.. more

The best in town 6/29/2005

Dr. Nowinski is a really great doctor. I had to go in for surgery and he was highly recommended and praised by everyone I came into contact with (nurses, general practitioner, sonographer). He takes the time to explain to you what you need to know and you don't feel like you're being rushed out the door. more
