Fantastic Staff! 8/1/2007

The staff at the Novi Public Library is fantastic! Whether you're looking for suggestions on what to read, finding the latest best-seller or help attaching photos to an email, the staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The library building itself is small and overcrowding is very apparent. If there was more square footage in the building, we could all enjoy more books, computers and seating. more

Terrible Staffs! 11/14/2006

The staffs at the check-out desk have all angry faces and so unkind (sometimes they are even rude, yes, rude!). Can you believe a librarian can have angry face? This library doesn't deserve even one star! PROS: Not much! CONS: Terrible staff, small space, angry faces with no reason. more

Good Kid's Section 8/6/2006

The Novi Library has a large kid's section with a puppet center and small tables with puzzles to keep them occupied. More than anything, the library has a wide selection of kid's books. They have an extensive collection of picture books.\r \r The problem is they don't have an equal portion of adults books. Their adult section seems a little outdated and they rarely have anything I am looking for. PROS: Many picture books. CONS: Poor adult section. more

Nice library! 7/28/2005

The Novi library is a nice place to go to check out books, DVDS, video's, cassettes, CD's and more. The pros about NPL are it's clean, friendly librarian's, fun activities for the kids, internet access. Con's, kind of small, not a very large selection of books. If a book you want is not available, they will order it for you from another library, so that is nice. more

  • Novi Public Library offers a large collection of books, magazines, newspapers, movies, music, games, online resources, and more.  It provides fiction and nonfiction books in many subject areas that include literature, romance, mystery, and science.  It also provides a wide range of movies, including films in a variety of  languages.  The Library organizes activities, story sessions, and reading programs for children and adults.  The Friends of the Novi Public Library provide support for services and programs offered to the community.
