Despite its odd location on the ground floor of an office building, in an out-of-the-way office park in Columbia, Nottingham's attracts quite a crowd, especially during warmer months, when you can relax outside at the "tiki bar." The bar often hosts bands, which are usually average-to-good, but they then charge a cover, which is generally too much for what they're offering--$7/person for a cover band? The bar is quite large, with pool tables, and is a pleasant change from the squished bars in Federal HIll and Canton. Drinks are overpriced, but about the same as any bar. Be on the look out for newbies who don't know how to mix drinks! Tell them exactly what you want.
Overall, an average bar, but much more convenient than driving up to Baltimore and getting stepped on in those bars-the-size-of-closets.
