When they were in Standale excellent, now everybody that works there is some kind of owner. When they got in the service business they never thought they would have to serve. \r Expensive reheated food\r Some places Rude uncaring service is kinda cute here they take it to another level, Literally people got up and left half way through there meal all around us. This place is abysmal, how they stay in business in this economy is beyond me you want better food Fazoli's would do it. more

Most Romantic/Best Customer Service 1/10/2008

"The Cellar" offers a spectacular dining experience. If you are in a hurry or just want good food- then don't come here. You musy be prepared to relax, sit back, and fully enjoy every morsel and every moment. Chef Mario is amazing. After eating his creations, your taste buds will never be the same. We have travel from out of state to Grand Rapids with the sole purpose of spending an evening dining at Noto's Cellar 3 times now and I can't wait for the next time. While I love wine, I am no expert. We leave the wine choices to the staff and merely give them a price range to stay in. This has given me the opportunity to taste wines I may not have chosen other wise and they always go wonderfully with the meals. If you are looking for a special place to take that person that you love to be with - this is the place. If you are planning to propose- this is definately the place! Pros: Fine Dining, Service, Ambience, Romantic, In a class of its own above the rest Cons: NONE more

One of my Favorites! 11/3/2005

This has to be one of my favorite restaurants in Grand Rapids! Their wine list (especially the Italian selection) is phenomenal. The risotto and pasta dishes are wonderful, and their spinach salad is one of my all-time favorites. I highly recommend their charity wine tastings (held bi-annually), and their event/banquet service is top-notch (Ive been to multiple weddings there, and have never been disappointed). more

Service and quality were exceptional. The extra's not anticipated but included were lifesavers. The food was superb, hot and plenty to eat. Would highly recommend to everyone for dinner or a wedding. more
