Norton Grille Restaurant

I have lived in Honeoye Falls my entire life and greatly enjoy supporting the local businesses. The Norton Grille has been just down the street for about 5 years, and I walk down just about once a week to get something to eat. The service is always great, servers who know your name, owners that care about your experience and food that is no lie, to die for. The prices are reasonable with plenty of food to take home for tomorrow's lunch. My family and I feel welcomed when we come in or just see a staff member at the grocery store. I will continue to support the Norton Grille and wish them luck for many more years to come! more

Last night my wife and I ordered a couple of meals from Norton Grille. We had along day so ordered it to go. I ordered the Prime Rib medium rare to medium. I received it well done. My wife ordered spaghetti and sauce. The bill ran about $30.00. I called the restaurant to express that I was not happy with the Well Done prime rib especially at the price and was told to bring it back for a placement. That was exactly what we wanted to do so that the spaghetti dinner would cool down to a nice 40 degrees while we return their error and get a replacement. The woman was rude and blamed us for the well done prime rib as we were late and it contiued to cook in the styrofoam box. I am a Chef myself and we never drop or cut a to-go prime rib if it is rare to medium as it cooks so rapidly. The waitress will let us know that the customer is here for their pickup and we will then drop the prime rib in the hot au'jus to bring it to temperature or cut it from the rib itself if the rib is being held under a heat lamp. They offered no baked potato and we received the order with no bread whatsoever. The Rib was nothing special and the spaghetti was well....spaghetti. Worst $30.00 meal I have had in years. I suggest they need experienced chefs and personable people in the front. Remember, "The Customer is always right" The blame should not be transferred to the party paying the bill. I would never recommend the Norton Grille. more

We just went here tonight! It was in the Entertainment Book so we thought we'd give it a try. We were very happy with this place. The food was good - my pot roast was delicious. Though apparently the prime rib, while good, wasn't something to remember according to my husband. The prices on the menu were good, my pot roast was about $11 and the prime rib with shrimp was $20. My husband did say that the shrimp was very good. All of their desserts looked great, we were very happy with our hot fudge cake for $4.25. I can also see this place being nice to go and get an after dinner coffee and dessert. Their menu had about 1/2 dozen flavored coffees and 1/2 dozen flavored hot cocoas. there is a full bar here too. Another perk is if you use your Entertainment book, the first time you visit they punch the hole in the card. They told us the next time we come in and brink our card that we'll recieve 20% off our next bill! more
