we stopped here on our way to snoqualmie falls. My dad, being a train enthusiast, really enjoyed it. I thought it was decent. i probably would've liked it more if more of the trains had been restored. I think all the restoration is done by volunteers though. It is free to walk around the trains (they are mostly fenced in) and go into the restored depot. They have a gift shop full of train items. There is a short, scenic train ride you can take, but only on the weekends. We learned little bits and pieces about some of the more northwestern types of cars/engines.
Pros: restored depot, lots of specialty northwestern cars/engines
Cons: most trains are behind fences and not restored
