what a waste of $60. i went here with my date expecting a non-corporate, unique dining experience. what a letdown. we arrived at the restaurant early, around 6pm. the dining room was decorated typical of a fried fish dive bar, complete with dusty nets and ropes. i tried to set this aside and hope for amazing food, which would nullify the setting. we looked at the menu and noticed the outstanding prices, which in a way excited me into thinking that these dishes were worth the asked price. i took a chance with the sesame encrusted tuna, and my date opted for the stuffed grouper. the drinks came on time along with some brown bread and butter. pumpernickel and butter?? how cheap and uncreative. the tossed salads were mountainous, which could be considered a plus, but i don't want to fill up on a boring salad before my main dish. my tuna was chewy despite ordering it medium. it had gristle and did not melt in your mouth like other seafood restaurants. i usually order tuna rare, but the looks of this place made me want it cooked more. the wasabi sauce was salty and basically tasted like somebody heated up soy sauce with wasabi and mixed it around. my date's stuffed grouper was a liquid mess. sauteed spinach in milk and parmesan cheese. gross. made the poor grouper hang it's head in shame. i would review the side items but by this time it is futile. i did not want dessert either. so long northwest grille. i would eat fast food before visiting you again. the server was friendly and helpful
Pros: air conditioned
Cons: pricey, low food quality, uncomfortable dining room
