I was about to go into the office and pay until I read all the reviews on here about how bad the service is. I missed my interview and the women I called earlier called me back. I answered but didn't say a word. I put my bong up to the phone and took a fat hit. She said that's why you don't get a job because you do stuff like that. She hung up and I couldn't stop laughing. Now I know its a scam cuz she seemed mad i didnt show up lol more

Over the past several days there have been several posts under various names from someone we believe to be a former employee who is disgruntled. The allegations and claims made on the previous posts can neither be substantiated nor confirmed because they are false. The concept of charging a fee for a service is not unique to our business. Many businesses charge an up front fee for a service and results vary based on how effectively the service is used. Health clubs and weight loss centers are two examples of services which individuals can do on their own, but choose to seek assistance. Northwest Employment is effective if used properly. We give each client a money back guarantee of accuracy and availability, so it is difficult to understand how claims of false leads and false advertising can be made. Our office has been in Tacoma for over 16 years, much of that time was when unemployment rates were under 4%. The suggestion that we are ?taking advantage of the unemployed? is absurd. Very shady people. They seem only concerned with getting your initial payment. Don't try to get any information on this business without paying first they will just avoid the subject altogether and focus on getting you to pay. Then, after you do pay, those nice jobs you saw in the paper end up not being in their database. At this point the jobs offered are very similar to the jobs on worksource and other job boards you can find. IMO if these people know of available jobs and won't share them without a payment it should be some sort of crime stemming from discrimination. Especially in these times. Pros: many job listings. So far Northwest Employment only says they do all the leg work for you, but for a fact you have to contact the prospective employers yourself. It's very close to as if you found a job ad in the newspaper, almost the same thing, except they say their job listings are fresh and up to date. Would NOT recommend to spend your money on this service. Pros: Job listings that didn't find elsewhere Cons: Spend money when you need money more

Been there many times and walked in with job listing numbers from ads listed under Northwest Employment and was very disappointed when they say it is not listed in their directory. Its their job to update those jobs because we are the paying members. Wasted alot of time and gas going into their office. They would'nt give you any information over the phone even if you are a registered member. I dont reccomend anyone to sign up and waste their $175.00 and not get the service they expect. Also, the staff is so rude and want to get rid of you as fast as they could when talking to them on the phone. It makes me wonder why theres always new employees when I walk in there. my son and brother in law went to this place for help and finding a job .and no suprise they take the money and tell them they have to do the job searches themself.people you can do this at work first for free .totally a rip off dont waste youre money .the people there are rude . I was looking for a new job and found one of the ads for work. When I called and started asking questions the job counselor could not answer, he hung up the phone on me. when I called to file a formal complaint I was patronized and then refused the use of the service. I was using 3 temp services until I found Northwest Employment. I used thier service from home, there are no tests for me to complete and there is a guarantee to me of employment. more

Went in, got a great job, didnt have to do any of the leg work. They cut down my compitition becuase I was new to the area. The staff was down to business and all about making sure I was offered good money, QUICK. They also guarentee the entire process money back. I recomend the place to anyone that needs money FAST. I recently joined Northwest Employment and en trusted them to find me a better job then the one I was at... I had been with the same company for almost 9 yrs and was only making about $10.50 an hour!!! When I called the lady on the phone told me i could be making alot more! And there are Benefits too! I went in and got a job that same day, I gave my notice and now I make twice what I was before! Its nice to know they garentee the service too! the staff was friendly and FAST!
