I had 7 posts moved 2 feet back to my property line. My contract stated that all debris would be cleared away. They did not do this. Unfortunately I paid in full on the day of the work. When I called to ask them to remove the debris, I was very angry. The owner said he was not going to send anyone to remove the debris. On the day of the project, the workers did not know what to do and I had to explain it to them. I was answering questions all morning. The woman who answers the phone is VERY RUDE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST!\r \r They gave me an install date of July 14. They then called me on the 13th to Confirm my installation for the 15th of July! Being upset for taking off work all day to be home on the 14th, she stated the date was changed on Monday the 11th. When I asked, why wasn't I informed of this?, she stated that the 14th was just a target date. she also stated that I did not have to be there for the install. Why wouldn't I want to be there when they are installing $2000 worth of fencing, do they think that I have that much trust in their work? when I wanted to cancel the job, and take my business to another company, she refused to refund my $500 deposit. BEWARE, NORTHWEST CEDAR PRODUCTS HAS SHIFTY BUSINESS PRACTICES!! more

Terrible customer service. On the day I signed the contract I asked if I needed to pick up the permit."" Oh no we'll take care of that"" said the owner. Well they applied for the permit, sent the workers out to start the fence I got a call from the city asking why I hadn't picked up my permit! I told them the contractor told me he would take care of it. The permit department called the owner he said No I told the client to take care of everything regarding the permit. OK then why did they start the process of the permit and never complete it! Next, they subcontract a small company to do paver patios and retaining walls. On the same day I signed the contract for the fence and signed a contract for a paver patio . AGAIN, major delays in getting them here and when they finally came they have now taken 6 mos. to come back and finish repairing the damage they did to our side and back yard and I have been given three different dates on which they would come and have not shown up!! Northwest is not calling me back and the people they subcontracted are not calling or showing up I now have huge tracks in my yard. They are very very nice at first and once you sign forget about it! POOOR customer service, I would never recommend this company to anyone. There are many other fence companies and landscaping businesses that will finish the job. I've seen 100's of landscaping trucks in my neighborhood and not any other yard was left in the condition my yard was left. Cons: Poor customer service, job not completed more
