Northview Animal Hospital

We have gone to Northview Animal Hospital for many years, Dr Kreeger has been our vet since he came to King. We have NEVER experienced a situation like that of pandaparade64. Dr Kreeger and all the staff we have been with are very loving to and professional with all our pets, and take very good care of them. \r \r One cannot expect a vet to always be 'in', esp if you don't call ahead first. They get emergencies and sometimes have to be out of the office, just like people doctors. They are NOT an emergency hospital, with a vet always on call. It is a shame that the nearest one is over 21 miles from this vet's office. It's very sad about anyone's pet in crisis who can't get to a vet soon enough, but it isn't fair to blame the vet for not being available every minute.\r \r Take into consideration the state of the economy right now, staff has to be trimmed etc because more and more people can't afford routine vet visits.\r \r I strongly suggest everyone ry purchasing pet insurance. It's very inexpensive as ins. goes. \r \r We all love Dr Kreeger and his staff and think you will too. They CARE about your pets. If you need a vet, give Northview Animal Hospital at least a try.\r \r more

On 9/23/11, we went to this office with our chihuahua dying in our arms. It was around 3 pm & there appeared to be no one there except the receptionist. She didn't appear to care at all about the situation. My husband asked her for help; she took her time going to the back only to come back & say there was no one there to help. (Why didn't she know this already; why waste valuable time???) Office hours on Fridays are supposed to be until 6 pm. Why was no one there??? Then my husband asked if there was another local practice that could help. She mentioned another one. My husband had to ask if she would please call them to see if anyone was there to help us. She didn't appear to want to pursue it & help, but she finally did. They had no one to help either. By the time my husband returned to the car, my chihuahua's heart beat two more times & stopped. I wonder how he would be if there had been someone there who actually cared & tried to help.\r \r I do NOT recommend this hospital. Please save yourself time by avoiding this one, you may also save a life!\r \r more
