Northland Pawn

In the past this was a great place but lately they have been full of crap. They offer you less than any other pawn shop on merchandise. Recently I was told that they would buy an android phone from me but I wasn't satisfied with the price so I said I would be back. When I came back the following day I was told that they would not take it and they didn't know who said they would. Once I described the person I was told that he was the manager and they would need to talk to him before the purchase. Well they ""called"" him and got no response so they suggested that I wait until he called back. After awhile with no call back I left. A few days later I called and asked to speak to him since they said I needed him to confirm only to find out that the person who said they needed his approval was actually the owner. Then I was told that he overrode his decision since he was only the manager. Why play with people's time and intelligence instead of sending me on a wild goose chase the OWNER could have just said that he was the owner and his employee made a mistake. Smh..Never again will they get my business and believe me they had alot of it in the past. more

Vigil is terrific! Friendly, an easy negotiator, and more than happy to show us his storage of bikes for sale . I had been wanting to shop for a bike here since I saw their summer sidewalk display of a bike rack filled to the brim with name-brand bikes in great condition...for $50-$100! It was worth the special trip. My husband found his dream bicycle, a Trek road bike that will serve his needs on the city streets, in great condition and ready to ride. $60 later, the bike is loaded in the car for its trip to its new home. We had searched the city, high and low, for an inexpensive but durable bicycle, from police auctions to cooperatives to Craig's List and the internet, and never would have thought that a pawn shop would have the best selection at the best prices.These People are Great!!!
