I went to Northgate looking for a refrigerator. There were no other customers in the store while I looked at the selection they had on the sales floor. Not one person greeted me...

Great service 1/18/2012

The sales staff did a great job helping me find the dryer that would fit best for my house, had the easy controls that I wanted, and made the process easy. The delivery crew backed up the shipping promise and installed it quickly. I liked the selection and had no problem with anything Northgate did for me. Horrible service!! 7/11/2011

I went to Northgate looking for a refrigerator. There were no other customers in the store while I looked at the selection they had on the sales floor. Not one person greeted me, said they would be with me shortly (I saw 3 associates that were 'working' there) or offered any assistance. After browsing the store for about 10 minutes I left and ended up purchasing my appliance elsewhere the same day. Too bad some businesses don't stress customer service with their staff because it costs them in sales and free advertising via happy customers. I will never shop or recommend this business to anyone I know. more

Wow 3/10/2010

I saw the testimonials on their website at www.northgatetestimonials.blogspot.com and had to try them out. We bought our new washer and dryer at Northgate and they were professionally installed the very next day. They took away our old set and even took 15 minutes to explain how each function! What great customer service! They have earned a new loyal customer! more

best ever 1/29/2008

I have never been to an appliance store that seems to be as concerned about their customers. I had the best experience on the sales floor being treated as I would want to be treated and the delivery and follow up was great, they even fixed the light in my freezer while delivering my washer.all I can say is top notchand keep up the good work more

Very disappointing 8/20/2007

I recently purchased all of my major appliances from Northgate, on the recommendation of my general contractor. Their selection and prices are comparable to other large appliances sources. No bargains here. They have one or two sales people who are very aggressive; others are more pleasant. The installation of my washer/dryer has been a disaster, with poor communication and general lack of responsiveness after delivery. I've been waiting for almost three weeks for someone to get back to me on an unresolved issue. I'll never make another purchase there. more

Very knowledgeable 8/12/2005

Every one at Northgate Furniture in Holland is very knowledgeable in the appliances they sell. I was very impressed that they were able to troubleshoot some problems with our microwave over the phone. I was also impressed with how honest they were about the problems we were having. Instead of telling us to buy a new microwave, they suggested that we let them take a look at our current microwave first. That's good salesmanship. more
