Dr. Randy is an amazing vet. He was very patient with my ill behaved cat who likes to spaz out during his veterinary visits. The staff is great too!

Meds for my dog's condition 11/13/2016

Dr Jim fixed my dogs ears 9/22/2016

Dr Jim was so great with my Doberman when she developed a severe itching problem with her ears. He prescribed some ointment which stopped the itching. Prices are reasonable too. more

Convenient Refills 8/12/2016

Really helped my cat when she was throwing up. Got me right in for an appointment and I can refill her medication on their website so I don't have to make a trip to the Vet. Great service! more

Our baby loves Dr. G! She had a bad skin lesion which she kept licking. Dr. G gave her both oral meds and topical ointment. The problem cleared up in just a few days. Great service!! more

I have a quarrelsome cat that seldom likes anyone, but Dr. Jim Hammon has been gentle and caring enough to handle and treat my cat better than any veterinarian we have ever been to. Many thanks to the doctors and staff at Northgate Animal Hospital. Dr. Hammon has been taking care of my 3 cats for several years and I am very happy with the service. One of my babies developed a urinary tract infection 2 weeks ago. I just took her in for a checkup and she is fine now and feeling much better since the medications and change of diet have been done. I learned that cats are very prone to this dangerous problem. Thanks for educating me and taking care of the problem is such short order. more

My Pug had been shaking her head for several days and then 2 days ago she cried out when I rubbed her ears. I thought at first she had some kind of headache because it felt like her head was hot when I petted her. I took her to Northgate Animal Hospital where the vet examined and then cleaned and medicated her ears. He said she had a bad infection especially in her right ear. My sweet baby is fine now and I am finishing up with the drops they gave me to put in her ears. Many thanks for the excellent diagnosis and treatment. more

My Terrier Skipper is a rescue and has always had occasional itchy skin. I took Skipper to Northgate Animal Hospital to try to get to the bottom of the problem. Dr. Hammon said it was allergic dermatitis and that he needed to be on a special diet and gave me some ointment to use on his hot spots. He was scratching and licking a lot sometimes and now he is obviously much more comfortable. I am so grateful to have this problem under control. This is a great veterinary hospital staffed with kind and caring people. more

  • Northgate Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary care provider. Based in Hixson, Tenn., it offers pet care services, such as laser surgery, grooming, special sleeping arrangements, special sleeping arrangements and weight management. Additionally, the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited hospital provides special care, which includes laboratory screening, dermatology, eye care, skin disorders, ear problems, geriatric pet care and vaccination. Northgate Animal Hospital offers boarding facilities for pets, that includes daylight lighting panels, a playground for dogs with hurdles, ramps/tunnel and cat furniture/play toys.
