I am usually not ""that guy"" who goes online to express their disgust when dealing with a poorly run business. If I get a bad haircut, I smile, say, ""thanks"" and then go get it fixed by another barber. If my steak gets over cooked at a restaurant, I still eat it, and I still tip my server. But, unfortunately, everyone has their tipping point and Northeast Studios has found mine.
Since I am already wasting valuable time, I will keep this simple. We got pictures taken on Black Friday at Price Chopper in Rutland, VT. WE selected the proofs the following week, and were told that after we paid in full, we could pick them up with a week to spare before Christmas.
We were not contacted at all. Once we got a hold of someone, we were told that in order to get our pictures we would have to pay $7 to have them shipped, or drive to ALBANY, NY to pick them up.
After 2 Full weeks of phone messages and e-mail correspondence, they finally decided to send the pictures and not charge the $7 fee. Not once was the poor service acknowledged or apologized for.
I do not recommend their services to anyone.
