Great agency and programs 9/23/2005

For all of you that don't know where your food goes when you have a food drive, this is the place. If you know anyone that is struggling with paying bills, give them a referral to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. They offer crisis boxes out of their pantry program as well as senior boxes to people, kids cafe and operation family pack. This is a great agency that does many good things right here in the Cedar Valley and throughout Eastern Iowa. They are also a great place to volunteer. more

They do more than help the poor. 7/15/2005

You may not even know that you or your family are getting assistance from the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. Does your child attend an after/before school program or day care that is non-profit? Do you know someone that gets meals on wheels? The odds are that you know someone that has benefited from these services. They are always in need of donations of food, money or volunteers. Contact them to see if you can lend a hand. more
