I've been a patient for two years. I am switching doctors tommorow. She does NOT care about her patients, only money. I called to have a persciption changed and she would not work...

Great family physician 1/13/2012

I have been going to Dr. Chu for years now and have been very pleased with my overall experience with her. Her staff members are pleasant and efficient and she is a great doctor. She will take the time to listen to your issues, discuss treatment options and test whenever necessary. She is informative without being condescending. I would highly recommend her. In fact my kids now go to Dr. Chu instead of their pediatrician because I prefer Dr. Chu. more

Pleasant visit 9/1/2011

I was extemely sick and looking for a dr to see me last minute bc everyone else was booked and dr chu was available to see me and take me in as a new patience. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. As I finished my paperwork it was only 5 minutes or less til Dr Chu saw me. So they were quick. They also had some toys out for my lil one to play with while I was filling out my paperwork. Once I saw dr chu she was very nice and listened very well. Never felt rushed or like she was in a hurry to get me in and out. I really enjoyed my visit over all and will continue to use this office for my family physician. more

Pleasant Personable... 8/1/2011

Seeing the previous reviews is disappointing.. But in my own personal experience, Dr Chu is very to the point, yet personable & friendly. She listens well & is very informative when answering your questions. I haven't had any bad issues with the staff, and I love the fact when you call, you don't go through a crazy phone system. A human actually picks up the phone and schedules you within the 1st few rings. & Wait time has never been more than 10 or 15 minutes after checking in. I swtiched from Kingwood Family to Northeast family... much better staff and doctor. Thank you Dr Chu! more

Agree and Disagree 4/30/2009

Dr. Chu is very nice. She listens to her patients and appears to genuinely care about their needs. Sure there are ""better doctors out there,"" but I'm certain that could be said for most. She's the first Dr. I've ever been to who has actually taken the time to listen to me and try to understand my persppective - that's a big deal in a family physician. And if she's not certain what the problem is, she doesn't hesitate for one second to send me to a specialist - that's what I expect my family doctor to do. Pros: Doctor Cons: Staff more

Dr. Chu - A Good Doctor 2/3/2009

I disagree completely with the first review. The staff is very personable and Dr. Chu is very personable as well. She is direct and spends time listening to her patients. I have never been on an HMO plan before and I am pleased with her dedication and concern for me when I need attention. She refers you to specialists when needed and does not hesitate to explain. They are very accomodating when it comes to working you into the appointment log when you are sick...yes, there is a wait as is true with any doctor. Perhaps if you always get into an office quickly and on time that particular doctor may be more concerned about a schedule than meeting the needs of patients that enter his or her door. more

NIGHTMARE!! 11/13/2007

I've been a patient for two years. I am switching doctors tommorow. She does NOT care about her patients, only money. I called to have a persciption changed and she would not work with me. Her staff is HORRIBLE! While trying to get the prescription changed one of her staff actually hung up on me. Very unprofessional! When I went in for plasma work, they missed the vein. My arm was black and blue for a month. When you go in the staff treats you like you are low class. You always end up waiting at least an hour when you have an appointment. There are better doctors out there. Cons: Staff, Doctor, Wait time, service, treatment more
