But it could be, and that's ok! I started coming here when I was pregnant with my first son. I liked the warm pool and the atmosphere was welcoming. the lifeguards learned my name, and as my pregnancy progressed, we all guessed at whether I would have a boy or a girl.
Now both my boys take swim lessons there (and the same lifeguards teach them how to swim), they love the kids area, my four year old has done tumbling, and I do pilates, yoga, zumba, and sometimes just read the paper while they play. the child care area doesn't have a tv- they actually play with your kids!! You won't find spin classes, but there are a good variety of classes and active people with regular bodies , young and old, doing them. No blaring tvs, no bass turned up in the background. coach earl is amazing with the children's basket ball. Adult pick up basketball, weight training classes...This place rocks!
they are growing, so I see how the person who came to rent space got a little frustrated; sometimes it is a little busy at the front. it is worth a second chance.
Pros: family friendly, variety of ages, community feel
Cons: pool is a bit warm if you are acompetitive lap swimmer
