The director of the organization was the most unprofessional person I have ever met. After viewing the center and all the great activities they have to offer , I was really anxious to get my child in. This being my first child, I really thought this daycare was a great place, until I had to deal with the director. I initially told her I needed child care by Oct. 1, which she stated shouldn't be a problem as long as I paid a registration fee ($135) and filled out the application. She stated that they had a baby that was suppose to be moving up into the next classroom due to age, so they should be able to get that done by the date. However, she wanted me to call her to check back and make sure things were going smoothly with the other parents and child. I was on maturity leave at the time, so that wasn't a problem. I proceeded to call her back as she instructed, but every time I called her she kept telling me to call her back again with a different date. This phone tag went on for two weeks, which by this time I was back at work, until finally she had her assistant call me and explain that they could not take my child because I hadn't paid the registration fee or filled out the application, which I had done two weeks prior and every call I had talked with Jan, she never mentioned this ""problem."" After explaining to the assistant, I had submitted all that information; she stated she would call me back, which I had spoken with her at 11 a.m. Well four o'clock rolls around and still no word on my information so I called her back. The assistant answered the phone and as soon as I told her who I was she stated, very rudely, that she was with a parent and would call me back before 5:30 p.m. Then 5:37 p.m. comes around and Jan the director calls me, after threatening her with calling the police, because mine and my child's information was ""missing"" she all of a sudden found all of my information and apologized because there was never any room for my child at their center.
Pros: The activities
Cons: The director
