North Star Golf Club is Alaska's/America's Northernmost USGA golf course. It's Alaska's best links golf course and is now open for the season as of Friday 05/18/12. North Star Golf Club provides an 18 hole, 6337 yard championship tee, par 72 course with four par 3's, ten par 4's, and four par 5's great for a day of golf. North Star may be the only golf course that includes an Animal Checklist on its scorecard. Our open terrain attract a large variety of native Alaskan species. The red backed voles colonize the deep rough, attracting a host of small predators such as hawks, owls, eagles, and red fox. Sandhill cranes watch you putt. Trumpeter swans have been seen recently. It is rare to see a lynx, however one was spotted in 2001 stalking (and catching) ducks in the ponds scattered throughout the course and in 2011 catching a snowshoe hare. Moose are often seen in the wetlands near the back 9, usually late in the day or early morning. We offer VISITOR SPECIALS that include 9 or 18 holes of golf, golf cart, clubs, logo towel or hat, logo ball, and certificate of play at America's Northernmost USGA course..
