Avoid this ER if you're Medicaid-eligible, alone and of single marital status when you need to go to an ER! NSUH Manhasset has shrink interns screening all ER patients for their Medicaid-eligibility. When they find a patient fitting this description, the patient is denied medical treatment (felony) and quickly locked into the psyche ward. Medicaid-eligibility doesn't make a patient a danger to themselves or others to permit the psyche hold. The hospital's Psychiatry Dept is engaging in felony abduction!
