My dogs and I love going to the vet! 11/10/2011

I found North Scottsdale Animal Hospital on an internet search when I needed a place to board my golden retriever while moving here from the Bay Area. Needless to say, I now have two and entrust all of their care including boarding and grooming to Dr.s Sosnow and Brown and the wonderful, kind and caring staff. Both dogs have gone through multiple surgeries and procedures there and still can't wait to get through the door to get their hellos and hugs. The atmosphere is safe and warm for all creatures, including the two legged variety! more

A very good place 9/26/2011

I moved here with two 5-year old lab mixed dogs from the Northwest. I needed a good vet and did some research on Google and found this veterinarian. My concern was having them - not me - obtain all the records from my vet in WA and then continuing the same treatment and care my pets have always had. I called them on the phone and Jennifer was super sweet and said she would contact my Vet in Tacoma, WA. I called my vet there and said to please release a copy of their records. It was done that day. My dogs love to go into this office and just love the staff as much as we do. And as an added bonus - their prices are lower than my last Vet. Very reasonable. I strongly recommend North Scottsdale Animal Hospital. more

Thanks for the awesome service and care!! 8/4/2011

Dr. Josh provides exceptional care, both to the pets and to the owners. There have been many times when we walk into the office and not only does his staff greet us with such friendliness, but then you see the doc on the floor playing with your pet...got to love that! It is never easy to take a loved one to the vets office, but at least with Dr. Josh we always know our pets will be treated with the best care and not to mention very affordable! more

Wonderful Animal Hospital! 8/4/2011

I have been using North Scottsdale Animal Hospital since January 2006 and wouldn't think of taking my small dogs anywhere else!\r \r Dr. Josh and his entire staff are excellent to work with. Very thorough and very caring everytime I'm there. I've also boarded my dogs there several times and they always come home happy and well taken care of.\r \r I highly recommend North Scottsdale Animal Hospital. Fabulous Experience w/ the Dr. Josh and Staff 5/26/2011

I had heard from my neighbor that she had been taking her cats to Dr. Josh for 3 years, ans loved him. He was always available to here even on weekends, and always seem smart and honest. When my dog Mumbles developed diabetes I wasn't comfortable with my current vet, so I went to Dr. Josh. He was everything that my neighbor described! In fact I spent 1 1/2 hours talking about the disease. My own doctor never takes the time. Dr. Josh and his staff were absolutely fabulous. P.S. The previous poster seems like she is nuts and has a chip on her shoulder, after seeing Dr. Josh I find it very hard to believe her post. more

They Do Not Honor Their Prescriptions Written 4/26/2011

I just want to let you all know that we have a pedigree min pin whom we dearly love. Due to the economy we have had to move a lot with jobs. We have never failed to take care of our pet whom we consider a family member. While we had to leave AZ and move to TX we had what we thought was an extra box of HeartGard so we did not rush to go to the vet. When I called to place the order for the heartgard, it was refused. After calling the office and speaking to JENNIFER, she said my dog would have to be tested because he has not had the medicine for 6mths now. She was very unproffessional and rude. The very least she could have done was call the previous vet to see that our dog was continuously on heartgard insead of accusing me of not having him on the meds for 6mths. She refused to help and this was extreemly upsetting. How can I just go have a test miles away? It's not like they do not have medical records. They do. Jennifer is ugly and as far as I'm concerned she is not too capable of the job she has. You would think they would have performed the test while I was there. No, they had no problem giving me the RX. What's the difference now? I'm glad I never have to see that vets office again. I have had animals all my life and this was the most heartless. more

Dynamite Animal Hospital 2/2/2011

I have worked at a few Veterinary Hospitals and really love Dynamite! Dr. Carla Smith is eager to teach and also to learn new things herself. The staff is close-knit and family oriented. Everyone is knowledgeable (reception, tech, dr. groomers). The staff understands that everyone has a life and works hard to get you in and out quickly if need be. On the other hand, they enjoy chatting and becoming close friends with each and every client. I love working at Dynamite and would most definitely recommend to others! more

Excellent care and customer service after many years 7/7/2010

I have been seeing Dr. Josh at this North Scottsdale for years. I have always said that Dr. Josh and Dr. Sarah always make a strong effort to provide the best and most progressive care for my dog and cat. When I call the staff, knows me personally and I know them. When the staff has been present for years, that says something very positive about the place. As far as the bad grooming review I saw, I've had my dog groomed by there groomer, she did a fantastic job ans was less expensive then the groomer that came to my home. Dr. Sarah was great! 8/9/2009

I loved my expereince. Dr. Sarah was great with Katie my shih tzu, and for the first time KAtie actually seemed to enjoy her visit to the vet. The staff made me feel right at home, and made all the arraingements to get my records from Florida and only vaccinate Katie for what she needed. They never tried to sell me stuff I didn't need. Honest and Accurate 6/27/2009

I had been to other clinics in the area over the years and felt that the doctors never provided consistent care or just wanted my money. When Lucy my cat got sick, I tried North Scottsdale on the advice of a co-worker. I was very impressed!!! The doctors really seemed to care and the staff always made me feel welcome even when I had to stay after hours. Plus, Lucy didn't seem to mind bein there. Finally found a GREAT vet!!! North Scottsdale Animal Hospital was recommended to me by a neighbor. I wasn't happy with the hospital I was going to so I got Dr. Josh's opinion. I felt that he was personable, honest and very informative. In fact he spent approx. 45 minutes talking to me about his plan and how we would hopefully get me a answer. He took the time to introduce the other doctor Dr. Sarah as well. I've never had a more positive experience at a vet.\r \r People who complain only about money never seem to be satisfied, particularly in this type of economic climate. A fair Evaluation 1/20/2009

While parking is difficult, I have always had a positive experience. Those friends that I have referred concur. I originally saw Dr. Josh to get a second opinion on my dog's liver disease. Nice experience for me and my dog 1/20/2009

I really enjoyed meeting Dr. Josh and his staff. I recently moved to Scottsdale form Chicago, and he was recommended by a friend. The staff was friendly and helpful when I called to schedule an appointment. Dr. Josh was very personable, honest and treated my dog ""Layla"" well. I WILL be back, and WILL refer him to others. Great Staff!!! and Great Groomer!! 7/6/2008

Hi - just wanted to say I love Dr. Josh's staff and especially his groomer Joy. She has just groomed my poodle and bathed my pugs! When I picked up my dogs they were happy and well taken care of. Great Communication 3/12/2008

I had been reluctant to have my dog fixed because I was nervous about the anesthesia. Dr. Josh and staff did a great job making me feel at ease. Louie, my dog was himself the same day! Great Care 10/16/2007

I like the fact that each person I met was friendly and helpful. I went to North Scottsdale Animal Hospital to get a second opinion on my dog's allergies. Dr. Josh and I talked for about 45 minutes. I used to go to petsmart, but those idiots just care about selling thing. I met Dr. Josh and was amazed that he takes the time to sit and explain things to me, while he's playing with my dogs. He just seems to care, and really know his stuff!!!! Pros: everything more

Very clean and very friendly office 3/29/2007

It was very refreshing to go into a vet office, and it does not smell of animals. The doctor was very nice, I came into the office unannounced and he came back from lunch early to help me. Also, he was very conservative with his treatment, he did not just send me home with pills for my pet. Pros: clean, accomodating more
