Great place for kids 6/15/2010

I grew up in this coop and still love it - it is a great place to raise children. It has a unique sense of community that is difficult to find in New York City. It is only 15 minutes from midtown Manhattan. There are great restaurants and shopping in the area. The coop is so lucky to have such and incredibly devoted and talented manager. The best coop in Long Island City 7/14/2008

North Queensview is an oasis in Long Island City. It's affordable and peaceful. The Manager has always been polite and extremely helpful. Our coop is not just a coop, it's a community where middle income people and live decently and in safety. My hat is off to the Manager who has done a beautiful job. OUR MANAGER ENFORCES THE RULES OF THE COOP . THIS IS TO INSURE THAT EVERYONES' RIGHTS ARE RESPECTED AND EVERYONE LIVES COMFORTABLY. ALMOST ALL OUR NEW COOPERATORS WHO MOVED HERE (FROM OTHER CO-OPS) DID SO BECAUSE THERE WERE NO RULES AND EVERYONE DID WHAT THEY WANTED TO. THEY FELT THAT THEIR RIGHTS WERE VIOLATED. THEREFORE, THEY MOVED. more
