i'm new to the area and have only been once but it was a wonderful experience. There was no wait for my appointment and the Doctor came in very quickly (no sitting around reading the posters over and over). The Doctor was kind and professional and I was pleasantly surprised by the cost. I made an appointment for my other pet when I left and I'm sure we'll have another good experience! more

North Pole Veterinary Hospital is More than I Expected 8/19/2009

Outstanding service!! I brought my malamute up from Kodiak, AK. to the North Pole Clinic as we have vet problems here. Dr. Lovely and staff were very professional, friendly, and great care was given to other peoples pets. I received the bad news from Dr. Lovely concenring the future of my dog, not the bizarre diagnosis from my home vet.They are well known and respected throughout the Fairbanks area and also by my friends here in Kodiak. 5 stars from me. more

Helpful when we needed help 8/7/2009

We have taken our dog here to get his nails trimmed since he was banned from the groomers for growling. They were willing and great. He also had broken a tooth and they took him right away. Very nicely kept place. Very impressed. more

Dr. Lovely 11/21/2008

The main Doctor is a Female and her name is Doctor Lovely. She is kind to the animals and you can tell she is doing what she loves. She is knowledgeable about all animals and is gentle as well. We really like her and will continue service at this Veterinary Hospital. Thank you more

Great Doctor 6/22/2005

We have been bringing our pets here since we moved to this area, a few years ago. We are always very impressed by the treatment of our animals. Not only by the doctor himself, but by the receptionists and other workers as well. They always give the dogs treats, and they are always very thorough and explain everything that is going on during the exam or vaccinations. PROS: Nice All around CONS: more

  • On behalf of the entire staff at North Pole Veterinary Hospital, we would like to welcome you to our website. North Pole Veterinary Hospital was started by Dr. Karl Monetti in 1971 as a large and small animal practice. The hospital was operated out of his house until 1984. In 1984, Dr. Monetti built the present hospital facility on Hurst Road and it became strictly a small animal practice. Dr. Monetti and his wife Susan, a licensed veterinary technician, ran the clinic until 2006. In August of 2006, Dr. Denali Lovely and her husband Patrick Lovely purchased the hospital facility and practice from Dr. Monetti. The practice has remained strictly small animal, however two other associates were added in 2006 and 2007 to provide the North Pole community with expanded veterinary care..
