This barn is located just off SH242, east of I45. It is well established and is owned and operated by Melanie Kirsche and her daughter Carlie. They train the more advanced riders, but the primary trainer is Tammy Hench, who has been with NHHP for about 15 years. Tammy has an encouraging style which makes lessons with her fun.\r
\r
The school is very active with SJHSA, usually sending a larger contingent of riders than any other barn. They also attend A and AA rated shows and Melanie has barn shows as well.\r
\r
There are about a dozen adult riders in lessons, male and female, who have a rollicking good time, before, and after, riding.\r
\r
The facility consists of two barns, one for youth riders and one for adults. There are 4 arenas, labeled ""technical"", ""hunter"", ""jumper"", and ""long"".
Pros: Active group lessons divided by age level: pre-teen, teen/young adult, adult
Cons: Scruffy lesson horses
