I've got four dogs and I tried this clinic because it's closer to my home and I was turned off by the mercenary methods of my last vet. I like the way this vet deals with the problem without looking at me like I'm going to be her next car payment. I haven't had any major health problems with my dogs (yet) but on the health maintenance issues (foxtails, congestion, etc.) she's been fine more

Yeah, pretty bad experience... 1/8/2010

I know doctors can have awful personalities, but yikes. Never had an experience like this. Rude, etc. Which I can deal with, but she really didn't know what she was doing. She was all about the money, and when I called her out on it, she became defensive. If it works for other people, god bless. But she really did try to screw, could care LESS about my dog, and in the end -- couldn't account for her actions. more

Not what I thought it would be 11/16/2008

Well, at first this place was my place to go to. I had taken my dog there before. Im not going to lie, they were very nice and all but they arent doing their job because they love dogs they're doing it for the money. I dont want to go somewhere where their first priority is money. more

Exceptional office staff/customer service. 8/20/2008

I just took my kitten to North Hollywood Animal Care Center, and couldn't be more impressed. When I got there, the waiting room was quite chaotic, as everybody was dropping off their pets on their way to work. But regardless of the chaos, the front desk staff was extremely efficient and patient. The office was very nice and clean, and smelled good, not "vetty" at all. Pros: Great office staff, clean, sanitary facilities Cons: a little chaotic in the morning. more

Bring your pets here if you love them... 4/9/2008

Dr. Sunada is WONDERFUL! She'll take care of your animals VERY well, and she listens to and answers your questions, which is rare these days. She is very reasonably priced, too. What cost me almost $400 at one vet (who didn't know what he was doing anyway) cost me less than half of that at North Hollywood Animal Care. Dr. Sunada also gave one of my animals years longer to live than other vets had predicted. The office staff is very helpful and friendly, which is great when you're distraught about an animal. Trust me... I don't review lightly. They're fabulous over there. Pros: Everything... the way they treat your pets to care given, to how they treat you! Cons: none more

Animal Hospital 11/3/2005

We recently moved to the area and needed a regular vet. We had been using a low cost clinic but there is no personal involvement at a place like that. So when one of our cats became sick I immediately began a long online search for local vets. A big plus was that out of almost all places I called the center had the lowest prices for almost all services. If you own pets you know what I mean about the overinflated cost of vet visits (much less shots, medication or surgery!) The doctor was very nice and has been there a very long time, infact her father ran the practice before she took over! She was very gentle with our cat (it's amazing how many vets & techs you meet who are so rough and uncaring with animals - makes you wonder what they are doing in that field..) She was very knowledgeable without being condescending and gave us many alternatives to help our cat. She had a great personality and I found her very likable.
