We have been clients of the North Carrollton Vet Hospital since 1990. All our dogs have received excellent care in a caring environment. Follow up on issues with our pets has been very good as we receive a call to check on how our animals are doing once they are home. In addition, the doctors and the staff do a good job of providing cost effective treatments and options. In addition to vet needs, we have used them for day care, grooming and boarding and have been pleased with the results. more

I have lived in the Carrollton area my entire life. I was reccommend to North Carrollton by a nerighbor and it was the best reccommedation I have ever recieved. The office is clean, smells wonderful and is always decorated for every holiday. Every time I bring my dog in he is greeted by name and loves the attention from the staff and Doctors. He always loves the treats at the end of each visit. I would reccommend the hospital to anyone in the Carrollton area. The Staff and Doctors are amazing and very caring. Each Doctor really took the time with my dog and really made me feel like they truely cared about him. If your looking for a wonderful clinic in the Carrollton area dont miss this one! more

brought my three year old papillon in for an exam, after we found him shivering and yelping in pain.\r I left the so called appointment, angry and very disappointed They took no information, no medical history. They only weighed him and took his temperature. They did not check his eyes, ears, mouth or any of the things that are part of a routine exam. I asked on the phone specifically if they could tell if he had a blockage from an exam and then was told, that they could not. They said unless I paid $250 for x-rays they had no clue. They then tried to charge $25.00 for a small bottle of pain medicine, that upon a call to another vet found out they are only 55 cents each. I left after paying $50.34, for absolutely nothing. I was home so fast, my family didn't even know I had left. I was so mad when I got home, that I called two other vets, who were shocked at my treatment and the price. I had to make another appointment with another vet. I will never be back there again. I just p more

Generally good experiences using this VET, however; they are constantly trying to drum-up business and will harass the daylights out of you with telephone, e-mail, and postal direct mail for other services like pet dental work. Also, make sure you see where your pet will be boarded as they do cage and stack when they are out of runs. more

We have taken our dogs here for years for both care and boarding. Great team with great care! They always get us in if we have a problem and ensure the best vet care for our pets. The facility is well run and clean for boarding. We feel like our beloved pets are safe and well cared for whenever we have had to leave them due to travel. more

I was referred to NCVH in 1998 and have brought all my pets there since. The staff is very nice, polite and caring - the Vets are very good with the pets (bedside manner) and do not rush though- they take time to talk with you about the current visit or any questions you may have. The visits aren't stressful to human or pet. Super people when I had to put my best friend to sleep. They went out of their way to be accommodating. 1st choice even though I've moved to Dallas. I called to schedule an appointment to bring my two dogs in for vaccinations, and was quoted one price. After the services were preformed I was told I had to pay more than double the amount of the price I was quoted. \r \r I paid the amount, but I was pretty hot about it. The doctor and the staff did all they could do to rectify the unfortunate problem. \r \r I don't think they did it intentionally, but I will be cautious if I choose to do future business with them. \r \r Make sure you verify that the services they are about to preform are what you were quoted, and what you scheduled for. PROS: Polite, and caring staff CONS: Verify price and services, because they may not be what you were quoted. more
