Norms offers the best Guitar and amp repairs I have been able to find anywhere. I had an old Gretsch that needed all the electronics to be completely replaced. When the luthier at Norm's was done with it it played like brand new. more

I shop at Norms Music all the time and all I have to say is THANK YOU! If I need it they have it or get it. I own very expensive guitars and would not trust anyone but Norm. I have an amp that no one knew how to fix, well sure enough I brought it to Norm's and he found the issue and now it rocks. Forget these lame big chain music stores. Make the trip to Norm's and you wont be sorry. more

I've been shopping at Norm's Music since I'm 14. My Mom bought me in to by my first drum set. I'm 41 years old now. Since then, I've bought two higher end drum kits and about six guitars. I've also built my recording studio with the help and knowledge of the staff at Norm's Music. They are a full service music store. I bring all my instruments to them for service because they do a great job at maintaining them. I wouldn't think of letting anyone else touch my instruments after countless stories I've heard. I also have a 10 year old son who takes music lessons there. He has excelled so much in the few months he has been taking lessons. I'm getting ready to buy him his own drumset soon. more

These guys are simply the best. Been playing in rock n' roll bands for decades and have dealt with many music stores and repair shops - never has an entire staff been more friendly AND knowledgable. Norm just finished an entire overhaul of my 61 Gibson that I bought in 1966 and I could not be happier with the way it turned out. Repairs are ready when promised, if I order something I get exactly what I want with no bullsh*t story. more

I brought my acoustic guitar in for a setup and asked to have the action lowered a bit. They wanted forty bucks for it which I thought was pretty reasonable at the time so i handed them my guitar. When I called to ask if my guitar was ready, they told me any adjustment that needs to be made to the nut or the saddle will cost extra. I was told for basic setups, all they do is adjust the truss rod and clean the guitar (even though on the receipt it states that an acoustic guitar setup includes ""Clean and polish frets, clean fingerboard, adjust neck relief, ADJUST ACTION, intonate, tighten hardware, string, clean entire instrument, spray and clean preamp (if applicable)."" For clarification, I ask them in what way was the action adjusted and their response was by ""adjusting the truss rod."" WTF?! The person was condescending, impatient, rude and unwilling to help. All they wanted was my money, charging extra for all these services that should have been included in a basic guitar setup. I was so upset that I just paid them the freaken money so that I could get out of the god damn store. Needless to say they well never see a dollar of my business. I am sure with they way these dirtbags do business, it will only be a matter of time before they go out of business (and the world will be a better place). If you like throwing your money away, being cheated and being treated like dirt, then this is the place for you. For the rest of use, consider yourself warned... more
