Bring your family pictures, your favorite pillow, and the music you love, and settle in to a room that's as close to home as a state-of-the-art medical center can be. The Women & Children's Pavilion is the three story structure on the west side of the hospital. Our knowledgeable staff provides care for women and children of all ages. We provide specialized gynecological surgery, maternity and newborn/pediatric services. The rooms at the Women & Children's Pavilion are completely private. Each suite features hardwood-like flooring, beautiful furnishings, state of-the-art medical equipment, and plenty of natural light. Fathers-to-be can stay overnight on a comfortable hide-a-bed sofa, and a large family waiting room is close by. You can even have your meals together as a family, right in your room. Staffed by highly trained nurses, our 20-bed nursery provides constant monitoring of your newborn. A state-of-the-art, 25 bed, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is also on site for babies who need extra care. The Labor,Delivery and Recovery unit (LDR) on the second floor of the Women's and Children’s Pavilion has 16 patient care rooms and a six-bed triage area. The rooms are supplied with the most up-to-date and current technology. Patients labor,deliver,and recover on the LDR unit and are then transferred to the third floor postpartum unit. The postpartum unit has 26 rooms that are designed with the comfort of the childbearing family in mind. We offer a safe traditional nursery and a Level 3 Neonatal ICU. For breastfeeding assistance,there are two full-time lactation consultants on staff.
