I had just recently moved into the millcreek area and was looking for a good Thai restaurant place because its one of my favorite food. I went online and found a good review and a place that was close to my house so i figured i would give it a shot. On Saturday afternoon me and my girlfriend drove off to the Noppakao Thai Restaurant in the Osbourn Square and we were very excited to get some good food and expect good service as well. As we enter the door, we noticed the decorations and paintings were fancy and look very neat. As we stand there waiting, there were nobody to come and greet us or seem to care for us. We waited awhile until a lady waitress walk up to us and said "how can i help you?" we said we have been standing here waiting for someone to seat us for awhile and we are very hungry. So the lady takes us to a table by the fishtank which was elegant and very nice. The table was a bit messy and sticky and there were pieces of food that hasn't been wiped off from previous customers. As we sat there looking at the manu we noticed that the lady waitress hasn't come buy and fill our water as 10 minutes passed we still don't see our waitress to give us any attention or what so ever. But we notice her voice talking in Thai to somebody near the kitchen loudly and very annoyingly unprofessional. So i decided to get up and walk over by the counter and talk to her that we need some water and we have been waiting for along time now for her to come and take our order. The waitress sounded very rude and was talking in a hash tone and hurrying us to order like she had to go do something. She didn't speak to us very nicely. We were already disappointed with the service at first glance, but we hope that the food might bring up our mood. Finally, we had order the food and it came out pretty fast and it tasted delicious and the flavor was very authenthic. We were very impressed with the food, as we were enjoying the food, the waitress walked over and asked us if we wanted any dessert and we said maybe and she dropped off the check presenter on the table. We got very angry and disappointed again because the waitress interrupted us in the middle of our meal and tried to get us to leave by asking for dessert and dropping off the bill. We had finished our water and it was never refilled throughout the entire time we had to wave our hands to get the waitress attention for some water. As we finished the food we were already ready to leave since the service was very horribly bad but the food was delicious. We walked over to the front counter and waited to pay our bill. We had to wait awhile again before the waitress notice us and she walked over to cash us out. We pay with cash and expecting our changes back but the lady had just took the money put it in the drawer and said thank you and walked away. Me and my girlfriend were stunned from what we had just witness and had decided to just forget about this server and we just leave out the door very angry and disappointing. For those of you who love thai food, we highly recommend this Noppakao restaurant, but beware of the service that you might get. This lady should not be working in this field of service if she was going to have an attitude and deliver horrible service both verbally and the bodylanguage. And for cashing the bill and not return the changes and kept it for her tips was very unprofessional. We will definitely be back to this restaurant but i hope that the service would be better next time.
