Noodles Italian Restaurant

I had dinner there this evening with my family. This has got to be one of the best restaurants in Columbus. Not pricey, and the portions are very large. I've been going there for a number of years, it's always been good, but lately the food quality has been unbelieveable! It's an Italian restaurant, but the menu is quite diverse and they have seafood, wonderful steaks and the best shrimp I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. The outside sign said that there is a wine tasting on June 2, I plan to be there. The owners said that you get 5 different wines, imported cheeses, fruit, and chocolate for only 15 BUCKS! A friendly, locally owned spot thats apparently been there for many years. We went there with another couple who couldn't stop talking about the place. I wasn't expecting anything like what we got. The quality of the food is incredible and the price is great. A small but very good wine selection at absolutely the lowest prices we've seen, and we eat out alot. The waitstaff are very courteous and friendly. It's like you're an old friend who's come home, even their regulars talk about how great the place is. Definitely try their prime rib Texas style. It's unbelievable! Our friends talked us into their signature salad, the 161 Salad. It was without a doubt the best salad I've ever had. A definite must, but it's big enough for two. With the huge portions they give you of everything, you might want to split the salad. We were so imprssed that we're going back for new years eve for the surf and turf. Highly recommend. I had an office Christmas party there this week. I had never been there before, but I will definitely go back. The chicken parmesen was out of this world. It was more than I could eat, with the salad and garlic rolls. They boxed up the leftovers and I had it the next day. I actually got 2 meals for the price. No, I'm not an 80 year old, they just give you very large portions of food. I had a chocolate martini after dinner. Now that's a great drink. If you go be sure to ask Linda or Tommy to make one for you. With their prices, portions and the great food, you can't go wrong here. Pros: Great food and prices Cons: none more

We stumbled on this place looking for a Noodles and Company. It should be pointed out thet they are not affiliated with Noodles and Company. This place was here years before them. I had the Chicken Pesto Tortellini and my wife had the Prime Rib dinner. All I can say is WOW! We were pleasantly surprised at not only the quality of our meals, but when the check came, I couldn't believe how low it was, even with a great carrot cake desert! Most of the dinners include a salad and garlic rolls that are awesome! It was so good, we went back for lunch the next day. Try the wedding soup, it's the best we've ever had. Great values on the lunch menu as well. I guess they have live piano players there during the weekend, we did see a baby grand piano there. Next time we're in Columbus, we'll definitely go back. Finally a restaurant with good food, hearty portions and you don't have to take out a loan to pay the tab. The service is excellent. With a team spirit and desire to make your dining experience feel as though you are visiting an old friend this has become one of our favorite neighborhood dining spots.
