Not worth the money 10/9/2004

I love cajun food, so I thought this would be a good restaurant to dine at. However the food here did not come close to meeting my expectations. When the server brought the plates of food, everything looked good. However it tasted disgusting. I could tell by the way by the flavor of the food that it could have been a good meal if the cook had omitted some mysterious ingredient that made my jambalaya taste like gun powder. I also tried the gumbo. It too had the same mysterious ingredient. The red beans and rice were okay. The only thing I will recommend is the steak , which was well prepared and delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice and comfortable. All I can really say is that you might have a great meal at Nonie depending on what you order. Pros: atmosphere, service Cons: , gumbo, tossed salad more

Greatness... 6/25/2003

The high prices are irrelevant, because the creole and cajun food is the best in the state. Lunches are inexpensive, the service is excellent, and the daily fish specials are awesome. Best of all is the crawfish boil every Wednesday night. Pros: everything more
