I went once after walking through South Beach all day. The food and ambiance was incredible and delivered. De Niro and chefs did not disappoint. Also, I've never been to a restaurant where as soon as my glass was empty someone was there to fill it up without overdoing it which is weird to say. The wait staff were knowledgeable and great. It was all I could ask for. more

Great food. Not for the cheap but worth the trip. more

Pretentious portions of underwhelming food. They do use fresh ingredients and the food was good- but for that price and mediocre service?! I have been there more than once and can tell you that it is not worth it. Better options in the area in that price range. more

We ordered a million things and all million were amazing. Yes it almost cost a million dollars, the portions were small but the flavors were simply perfect on every dish- well worth the splurge! more

I'd looked forward to visiting Nobu for some time and finally got the chance while staying in South Beach.\r \r Chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa did not disappoint, the entire night was full of incredible food. Every single course was fabulous and a real treat for a sushi and Japanese food lover.\r \r If you live in or are visiting a city with a Nobu you need to visit, it's an experience you will always remember. more

Enjoyable Experience 5/21/2009

Nobu is located within the Shore Club which is a beautiful hotel. The restaurant itself is plain in its decor and we were seated at an awkward table for 4, but the food was great. I agree with previous comments that you can get good sushi for less but the cooked dishes really were delicious. I highly recommend the lychee martinis. Overall, we had a great experience. Also, a good idea to stay for cocktails at the Shore Club's garden and pool area after dinner. Pros: Food, Lychee Martini more

Great modern environment. I had one of the best sea bass meals there. Decorations are pretty cool. more

GREAT FOOD... AND PRICES... :( 9/19/2007

THE ONLY NOBU I TRIED IS IN ARMANI NOBU... THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT LIKE THE NOBU IN MIAMI. THE PORTIONS ARE MORE LITTLE HERE AND THE PRICES... ARE INCREDIBLE HIGHER IN MIAMI. OK, YOU HAVE AN EXCELLET AMBIENCE (MAYBE THE TABLES TOO NEAR), INCREDIBLE AND FRESH FOOD AND EXCELLENT SERVICE. BUT I THINK THE PRICES ARE A LITTLE BIT HIGH. BUT IT'S A PLACE TO GO! Pros: YOU'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE FOOD! Cons: HIGH PRICES AND ALWAYS FULL! more

Worst experience from the minute we walked in 5/9/2007

I have been to Nobu in New York and was it was amazing. Just what I expected. Last Sunday we went to Nobu expecting the same we had experience in New York. We could not have been more disappointed. The hostess was rude and told us the kitchen would close at 11 we would get seated at 10:45 and had to order immediately. The service couldn't have been any worse. The waiter forgot something we order and blamed it on me saying we had discussed the dish but I never actually ordered it. It all just went downhill from there. The quality of the food was mediocre. Will never go back again. I work in the industry, so I know what I'm talking about. Cons: everything more

Nobu is hipper than your average sushi bar. There's no sign on the hotel where it resides, no sign on the restaurant, no way to find it without asking. Inside, Nobu is spare, and...
