Editorial review from Citysearch 1/19/2014

I mostly go to noble for old video games. The things you can buy there are quite hard to find. However, the previous reviews are accurate about the staff. They don't give 2 craps about you unless your there to play in there Card tournaments. The organization and price tags are just a crazy mess, one copy of a game will be labeled 4.99 and the same title will be 7.99. the staff (atleast from what i've seen) dont have many answers to my questions. It's hard to catch a manager on duty to help me with buying a product at a reasonable price (or a realistic price check). My wife doesnt like going there because she says it smells of body odor, but what does she expect its a nerds paradise. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 10/9/2013

I purchased a game from Noble for $32.56 on 9/3/2013. I took it home and attempted to play it, but the disc would not read. Noble's receipt stated there was a 7 day refund or exchange. I went into the store on 9/4/2013, They did not have another copy of the game I wanted so I continued with a refund. The store than swiped my card and told me I would get the money back within 48 hours.\r I waited a week before calling back the store to tell them, that I have no gotten my money back. The employee stated that there is nothing that he could, and only the owner would be able to help me. I asked when the owner would be in and he told me Saturdays in the morning. I personally went in on that Saturday when a different employee told me they never have the owner on Saturdays. They told me to call their other location and that a manager Robert could maybe help me on the issue. Called the other store. Robert was unavailable, and was told he would call me back. Did NOT receive a call from Robert. Ended up calling Robert who had the owner call me after he explained he was just busy ( for 4 days ) Owner told me that he sees that it was swiped and there is nothing they will do for me and they have the right to refuse service. I explained my bank has no information on trying to get the money back. He just told me they are not going to fix the problem. Reading reviews I see this is not the first time this has happened. I just want my money back ! Its not a ton of money but for a 19 year old girl living on her own, 32 dollars is a lot to me! Worst part the game that clearly did not work ... It was put back on the shelf in the same spot... I bet they make a lot of money like that.. I believe this company tired to give me a run around untill I gave up. this company does not care about their customers and are only in business for the money. I used to love Noble.. But I will never shop there again. more

Nobles,its in the middle 3/17/2012

I shop an nobles almoste EVERYDAY and i have to say as a customor there for a long time that its a good store, its a good store for anyone who likes to play/collect retro gameing memrobilia or play classic games i have only three problems with the store... 1.there employees could use some work, sometimes they are good, and other times they could give a crap less about you, recently i went there to buy a back case to my gameboy and the employee said that they didnt have anymore when i could clearly see they had a LOT behind the glass i had to point out that they did have the back case i was looking for. 2. i think that they need to drop the price on a couple of there products, i mean lets be honest some of this stuff that there selling for 50,60, bucks is at least 20 years old if not older. if your looking for a gameboy advance sp i hope your ready to yank out 40.00$ from your wallet. 3.i notice that when i turn in a game that i bought from the store thats not working they turn around and put it back in the same place it was for another unlucky custommer to buy it. why would you do that? why would you purposely turn around and sell something you know is broken? over all despite the 3 negitive things i think that 80% of the time if you goto nobles you can get what your looking for witch is all that matters in the long run... more

!!!NOBLES NEEDS A WEBSITE!!! 2/4/2011

i think that this store is the ideal stop for any gamer. the only thing that discourages me from going all the time is the fact that their inventory can change in the blink of an eye! It seems like every time i see a console i want to buy, i start saving money and then once i have the correct amount i check if the console is still there and its not then i have to save twice the amount i have so i can get the next one.I think that nobles should put up a website so anyone can look at their inventory. more

My Nobles Review 12/12/2010

Customer Service\r \r Whenever I go to Nobles (Which is quite often) the staff always gives me good customer service and are willing to help me with anything I ask as best they can. They are always good mannered and try to give you fair deals on trade-ins.\r \r The Merchandise\r \r Nobles has an excellent selection of the latest and used trading cards, game systems, comics, all manner of video games, and many accesories to go with many of their products. The only negative thing I have to say is that a few of the prices seem to be a bit high but then again they do carry things other similar stores lack.\r \r Organization\r \r The products are fairly well organized and you should be able to easily find what you are looking for easily and any problems you might have can usually be solved by the store staff.\r \r \r \r Overall Nobles is my favorite store to visit whenever I need anything related to gaming or trading cards and I'd reccomend it to anyone over stores like for example GameStop.\r \r more

Rare Stuff but Horrible Staff 5/30/2010

I go to noble for nes and snes games. You can find some rare ones there and the prices are mixed. Some are simply outrageous and many are reasonable. If you are still into trading card games, they carry cards. If you are a comic book nerd, there are TONS at Noble. They also carry many classic movies on VHS. The biggest drawback for Noble is their staff and ""customer service"". If you ask them something that will require them to leave the counter, such as opening a case so you can see a game, they will let you know how much you have inconvenienced them. They can rarely answer your questions and they do not take the initiative to TRY and find an answer. They do not keep track of their inventory so you cannot ask them if they have a specific item. At many other stores, employees would offer to help you look for it, but not at Noble. I gave the store a 3 because their products are in good condition and it is one of the only place you can find these items. If the employees even pretended to care about helping you find what you are looking for, the place would be a solid 5 Pros: Rare items for people who are into cards, comics, games, etc Cons: Staff is incredibly rude more
