Horrid Food in a good location 7/31/2011

First for the good part of the review: It is a pretty location on Galveston Bay and the outside tables are the place to be on a nice day. Now for the rest. Maybe this place is so popular with the bikers because their taste buds are burned out from nicotine. Or maybe because they like the toothless hags that they use for waitresses (inefficient but cheerful I must admit). Or maybe the drugs have burned out so many brain cells that taste really doesn't matter to them any more. But the breakfast I had was so flat and tasteless that I struggle to find words to describe it. A 10 year old cooking breakfast for the first time could do better. The shrimp and cheese omelet (only ingredients) was made with the smallest canned shrimp that it is possible to buy. They claim it is a three egg omelet but if so, they are the smallest eggs ever laid. And when I requested a few mushrooms be added, they up charged me $1.50 -- for the equivalent of about two chopped mushrooms in this tiny omelet. The home fries were just chopped, fried potatoes. No peppers, no onions, not even any spices! If you are the beer with breakfast type, then by all means come and enjoy the waterside dining. But if you look for your food to taste good, there are lots of *good* restaurants in this area. more

Great view, food and music 6/3/2010

The beer batter they use on shrimp and onion rings is the best I have had. The music on Fridays is great if you are a Parrot Head, in fact, the group that meets there is the ""Parrot Head Club"" The selection of beers is pretty good, the mixed drinks are perfect, the food is perfect, so the service is a little slow. Get over it, you are on the bay watching the water. Relax spaz! Pros: Food is so fresh (seafood) burgers are fantastic Cons: Too many people know about it. more

Great view of the bay, great burgers and sandwiches, good service! 9/1/2008

If you a looking to dine at a place with a little character and alot of charm this is it. Food is consistenly good and so is the service. Can get crowded on the weekends but the staff generally tries to get your food out quickly. Our family has been going here on the weekends for about 4 years and we love it. The $1.50 Mimosas, Bloody Mary's and beers on the weekend are a plus. Their Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich is really, really good! Pros: Great food, reasonable prices, nice view. Cons: Can get crowded on the weekends. more

Don't go here if you are hungry! 2/24/2008

Our group rode to this place today and after 2 hours I was told my food was canceled because one of our guys got tired of waiting and left. Cons: NO SERVICE! more

Harley Hangout 5/7/2007

This is our secret Harley hangout, so I should not even share it with the masses. But hey, if you're on your bike for a drive to the coast or Kemah, check out Noah's. It's a little place hidden along the back roads of Bacliff, with outdoor tables looking out onto Galveston Bay. If you're in the mood for great, juicy hamburgers, chicken fried steak, or fresh oysters follwed by a ice-cold beer while talking bikes, then this is the place. But hey, if your ride is not a V-Twin two-wheeler, then you're probably going to be out of your element here. Pros: Great view of the Bay Cons: Leave your yuppie attitudes at home more
