We were very disappointed. We are just starting our search for a new or used sedan. Sam was the salesperson who helped us. This is the 5th dealership (1st Nissan) we have visited and we felt completely pressured. He constantly wanted us to come inside to work on numbers which we were not prepared to do. Pressure to buy, pressure to buy, pressure to buy today because no more Sentras would be there (for example). We will be purchasing a car in the next month but it will not be from here after our experience. The only thing that we felt would get Sam off our back (which is how we felt) was to buy something that day which we weren't going to do. \r
\r
He also gave us incorrect info about the Sentras. We were interested in new and used and the Altimas he said had the great mpg for 2013 but less for the 2012 and priors (that checked out). He said the same for the Sentras basically making us feel like the 2013 would be the only thing to buy and not buy used (because mpg is one of our reasons to purchase a new car). After getting home and researching, the Sentras have the same mpg for 2013, 2012, and 2011 models.\r

Finally, we wanted to discuss the leasing options on the electric Leaf (this is an option for us for a 2nd vehicle). Sam had to step away for a moment, someone else approached us We asked him about the Leaf and he said they no longer had the lease program. When Sam came back, he showed us the Leaf and said they did have the 2 year lease program with tax incentive. So a second falsehood from a different salesperson.\r
\r
Also, we could tell the difference in Sam's demeanor when showing us the Leaf. We are assuming that there is little incentive for salespeople to offer a lease on that car based on the two of them.\r
\r
I finally got out of there and my husband shortly followed. Both of us were exhausted and just felt like we had to fight to just look at the cars and get basic information. After all of our car research, we will probably buy an 2013 Altima. But we will find another Nissan dealership to work with.\r
