Great place for family and friends 12/2/2008

This restaurant's interior brings to mind a feeling of freshness, very modern looking decor with clever play of light and a dark wood floor. At the end of the bar, the place extends like a welcoming cape with a beautiful fire place area and comfy sofas. The bar tender makes some extraordinary drinks with Mango juice. Very inviting place for group dinner or lunch AND their food is very delicious. Fish cooked in coconut sauce is amazing. I also tried lamb chops and it was very tender, well marinated and well cooked. I will definitely go back to this place with a lot of friends. Pros: Nice Place to relax with friends and have a good time more

Best Indian Food / Pleasing and comfortable Ambiance 12/2/2008

I was pretty excited to find this great indian place in Midtown...loved the food here..Mouth watering appetizers and great tasting food specially the Methi Mattar Malai happens to be my favorite now. Very friendly staff, prompt service, clean place. The interiors are very welcoming. They also have a great lounge area as you enter, best suited for long happy hours on those cozy leather couches with best shaken cocktails. Iam eagerly looking forward to visit again when i'm in the neighborhood. Pros: Ambience, Service, Food Cons: None discovered yet more

Best Indian Appetizers Ever.... 11/30/2008

Had dinner at Nirvana last night and the food was just great. Especially the green chicken curry. All the appetizers were awesome. The ambience of the place is very nice and super clean. Wonderful modern and cozy interiors, awesome food and service 11/28/2008

Nirvana is definitely one of it's kind in Indian restaurants.... the kind of place we've been looking for since long! It is nothing like the regular Indian restaurants - Nirvana has a modern lounge that serves excellent drinks and also has a fine dining hall upstairs. The food and service is great. I especially love their seafood dishes - so fresh and well cooked. The bar tender makes some awesome drinks - Nirvana Sunrise is my favorite - highly recommended!! The have some exotic game meat on their menu which I am definitely going back to try!! They have a really cool lounge - which is sooo rare in Indian restaurants. It is a perfect place to hang out for a few drinks (I hear they have happy hours too) and enjoy tasty appetizers. They have a dining hall upstairs which has a great ambience and also has a sunroof area that would be ideal for small group celebrations or just dining!! Wonderful place with awesome food for all age groups and palettes. Pros: Location, Food, Ambience, friendly and professional service Cons: have yet to find one more

This is the only restaurant continuing to deliver good food. Especially, the last order was awesome!! I ordered onion pudina paratha, mixed pickle and Gulab Jamun. The paratha was nicely made, tasty. Gulab Jamun was AWESOME!!! I requested the jamuns to be soft and so they were! I am happy with this restaurant. more
