Another hair school NOT to try 7/31/2005

I came here soon after I moved to the area and didn't have a great experience. I had been to many hair schools and liked the bargain price, so I took the chance. The girl didn't do a terrible job - I looked fine when I left, but she took a VERY LONG TIME for just a haircut. Plus, I didn't think there was much supervision over what she was doing, considering how long she was taking I'm guessing she was pretty new. I've never gone back. more

School 7/31/2005

This is another one of those beauty schools where you can have a supervised student do your services at a very low price. But I would have to say that I have seen better ones than this salon in my experience. The wait here was unreasonably long, even though the waits at places like this are usually pretty long as it is. The students seemed very unprepared to be doing any services at all. The teachers were many times out of site and unavailable. My feelings of apprehension and frustrations towards these students were definitely not worth the money I saved. And neither was the time spent when the end result was just an average hair cut!! Go at your own risk. more

Better off paying for a full price haircut with a full trained stylist 6/30/2005

The saying is "you get what you pay for" and its very true in this case. I decided to see if this school gave good for the cheap prices that they charged. All I wanted was a trim, which didn't take too long. The bad point of the haircut was the fact that the teacher was never around to check her work and took forever to check the finish product of her cutting. Luckily the teacher did check because the student had cut my hair so crookedly that it needed to be corrected. This meant that my hair was to be cut 1 inch shorter than I wanted it to be cut. So I don't recommend using this school at all. more
