We have traveled extensively in Asia and Europe and look for the one or two local restaurants that we can call ""home"" during our visits. I stumbled onto Nikki's as I was told that the wait at the local restaurant next door would be 45 minutes. When we walked in, we knew we had found home. The local owners greeted us with a big smile and asked my family to sit away from the window where we would be comfortable. The place was filled with happy chatter; later we would find out that many ""locals"" were regulars and one could find out just about anything going on in the city. Our breakfast that day was great, served hot, very tasty, and the service was outstanding. We looked on City Search for reviews for dinner and read the review from PBSS about Nikki's. My wife laughed and made a comment about how some people just have to complain about something. We decided to return to Nikki's for dinner; we were in for a fun filled evening.
Pros: Great Food, Great People. In summer, dog lovers check out the outside patio. You can see us there!
