Niki's Place

I took my dog in December 2011 to get his shots because he was due..my dog is a blue nose pitbull, and the most friendly dog ever...he loves everybody. he has no behavioral issues whatsoever, and never has.....the receptionist/tech was great with him, and he just adored her, even giving her a lil lick when she went to weigh him... however, when Dr. Nafgizer came in, she was standoffish with max from the get go, she came in walking sideways and stuck her hand out to the side, afraid to touch him. she went to give him his first shot, and ended up sticking him THREE TIMES with the SAME NEEDLE...being a nurse i know you cannot stick humans with the same needle more then once....then when she went to give him the bordatella solution, which was a solution that is squirted into the animals nose, max jumped and tried to pull away, being he has NEVER HAD that done before, so he jumped around a bit...after giving only half of the solution to max, saying that she spilled a good part of it, she says to me in a VERY RUDE tone, ""you should have told me he was going to jump around lke that, now i spilled most of it, so next time he will get the injectible because im not going to waste my time manhandling him to give him the solution again"". I explained to her that he has never ever had any sort of substance squirted into his nose, and had i known he was going to react that way, I would have let her know...and all she kept saying was ""you should have told me he was going to do that..."" I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable... I have NEVER EVER experienced such a rude, unprofessional Veterinarian in my life, she is the professional and should know how to handle an animal, no matter how they react. I called to talk to the supervisor to complain, and the owner/supervisor of the company never took the time to call me back, and had a receptionist call me to take the complaint so they could pass it on. I lost the utmost respect for Niki's place and WILL NOT go back.... be careful taking your dog's there for shots, and MAKE SURE, they dont use the SAME NEEDLE MORE THEN ONCE, and do not take your dog there if they are a pitbull, i think the vet there has issues with pitbulls and does not care for them more

This place just spayed our 110 pound dog and everyone there was wonderful. The facility was very clean, all the employees were great to me and my dog. And the prices were something that I actually could afford. I would recommend Niki's Place to all dog and cat owners out there you will not be disappointed. more

Do not use this company. We had our dog spayed here and 1 week later had to pur her down due to burns from their heating table. It was a very sad situation and the owner was not able to do anything from a costs standpoint to help our situation. Just not a good company overall and I would never trust them with your loved one. more
