When i first leased my property from nies it was great. Everyone was very helpful and quick to respond to any problem that arouse in the house. Then i had a couple of windows got broken out by one of the neighbor hood kids playing ball and contacted the leasing manager she got very upset and seem to act like she didnt believe anything that i was saying to her. She sent out her maintnece department and he got an estiment for the window replacement. She told me what it was and said that i had to pay for it. I became very upset. I didnt feel it was my responsibility to pay for that repair. So i went and got the sencond window fixed myself before they had fixed the first one. It was about a fourth of the price she had qouted me. With in a couple days the maintnece men had come out and replace the remaining window. The Price never changed. I went up to the lesing office to talk to the manager and gave her the bill she sent in the mail along with the invoice i had recieved from geting the one window fixed myself. She took tehm and said she would speak to the owner Mrs. Nies and get in contact with me. Six months went by and never a word. My lease came up and i did the walk thru with the manager and everything checked out fine. I asked her about the window and she acted like it was a thing of the past. That i would get my entire deposit back. Of course a week later i called to arrange to go pick up the deposite and the manager told me how much it was and it wasnt the full amount. I told her i was on my way to speak to her. When i arrived of course she was nowhere to be found nor was the owner. Its been two weeks and still every time i call or stop by she is no where to be found and wont return my calls. I feel if they felt they were so right about the situation why are they hideing. I feel i have been very cheated and as someone who took very good care of the rental property and always was on time with my rent they at least owe it to me to speak with me about it.
